Train the Trainer

Are good trainers born or grown? Obviously no one is born with excellent presentation skills...it is a learned skill. While some people have a gift for talking and some are less intimidated to stand in front of a group and speak, that is not the measure of a good trainer.

This course helps the new trainer understand the following:

• Adult Learning Theory: What makes an adult want to learn and retain information.

• Assessing Learning:  How do you know when learning is taking place?

• Instructional Design:  Breaking learning points into smaller concepts which are more easily grasped by the learner.

• Platform Delivery Skills:  Preparation...preparation... preparation!

• Trainer Evaluation:  Getting the feedback to improve your skills.

People who have been given the task of training either in the classroom or on-the-job who have never been a trainer before.
